What could be more relaxing than a blissful soak in your own private hot tub, overlooking one of the most beautiful views in Perthshire?
Staring up and losing yourself in a starry sky, gazing into an amazing sunset or submerging yourself in the tub with snowflakes landing on your shoulders – therapy for mind and soul.
Your private hot tub is on the decking patio where you can enjoy the best views of the Tummel Valley
This part of Scotland in one of the most sparsely populated regions of Europe, so our skies have very little light pollution and for most of the year our night skies are full of stars. Last week we saw a shooting star as we enjoyed an evening glass of wine in our hot tub and even the northern lights have been seen occasionally.
In midsummer sunset is at 11pm so you will have to enjoy long sunsets over the mountains instead, and put up with up to 17 hours of sunlight every day.
The health and anti-stress benefits of water treatments are well documented. In Victorian times visitors came to towns like Pitlochry to be hosed and pumelled into health at the hydropathic hotels. Today you can get all those benefits, without the drama, by just relaxing in the bubbles of our hot tubs.
Each of our pine log cabins has its own private hot tub just off the patio deck.
We supply luxury spa robes and slippers for your comfort.
After we introduced out first hot tub in 2011, the demand was so great that we now have a hot tubs with all our log cabins.
We had a few days in a one-bed lodge, idea was to 'get away from it all'. Enough privacy to do just that, and the hot tub certainly did it's job to sit back, relax, enjoy the sun and the stunning views around Pitlochry. Andy was very helpful, as was Jane. Everything you are likely to need was there for you, clean and tidy too. Have told a few friends of our experience...all very positive. Many thanks - hope to return. Tripadvisor 3
"Wonderful relaxing few days" I booked a cabin at Kinnaird Woodland lodges for 3 days over the 2015 Christmas period, and it was everything that I had hoped for. The cabin itself was really clean and cosy. Whilst initially being smaller than I'd imagined, it was actually perfect for myself and my wife. We were greeted with a wonderfully warm welcome by Yvonne who showed us around the place and explained how to use the key features (hot tub and log fire) and then largely left us to it. The location of the cabins gives a really nice view over Pitlochry and the surrounding hills, and the layout of the cabins means that you never really notice any other guests apart from walking to and from the car. I also booked my wife into the spa that is onsite for a back massage, and having this so close, and then being able to jump straight into the hot tub certainly added to the relaxing feel.
