Welcome to Kinnaird Woodland Lodges—an intimate retreat where refined comfort meets the quiet beauty of the Scottish Highlands. Crafted from pine and thoughtfully styled throughout, each lodge features a private hot tub and a warming wood-burning stove, creating an atmosphere of effortless luxury and calm.
This website serves as the central booking and management platform for our collection, allowing you to explore the individual lodges and select your perfect stay with ease.
Designed exclusively for two adults, our self-catering lodges are VisitScotland 4-star graded and offer a carefully considered balance of elegance and practicality. Expect fully equipped kitchens, soft ambient heating, complimentary Wi-Fi, and beautifully appointed living spaces—all framed by uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside. For those travelling together, Schiehallion Lodge offers the flexibility of a two-bedroom layout, accommodating up to four adults while maintaining the same sense of comfort and refined style.
Positioned just under two miles from Pitlochry’s charming main street (Atholl Road) and less than a mile from the much-loved Moulin Inn, Kinnaird offers both seclusion and connection—close enough to enjoy the best of the area, yet wonderfully removed from it all.
Set within the rolling landscape of Highland Perthshire, the lodges are surrounded by farmland, forest, and distant hills, offering a sense of space, stillness, and escape that feels truly special.
Complimentary parking is available within 50–100 metres of your lodge. Please note that, in keeping with the natural hillside setting, access involves a short walk uphill and 1 or 2 sets of steps with a banister from the car park. Adult only lodges and only one is dog friendly.

Hot Tub with a view

Bealach Lodge is a characterful one-bedroom retreat, designed as its own unique expression of Kinnaird’s woodland collection. Wrapped in warm pine interiors and styled with a rich red tartan influence, it offers a cosy yet refined atmosphere that feels both timeless and inviting.
Expansive windows draw in the ever-changing light across the Pitlochry landscape, creating a constant connection to the surrounding hills and woodland. Inside, the open-plan living, dining and kitchen space is centred around a wood-burning stove—perfect for slow evenings and quiet escapes—while the elegant en-suite shower room adds a touch of understated comfort.
Step outside onto your private decking, where a secluded hot tub awaits, perfectly positioned to take in the peaceful views and stillness of the setting.

Beinn A’ Ghlo is a bold and expressive one-bedroom retreat, where rich tones and a striking teal and orange tartan palette create a sense of warmth with a contemporary edge. Designed to feel both intimate and design-led, the space balances natural textures with thoughtful detail.
Light pours in through expansive windows, drawing the outdoors into the heart of the lodge and framing the ever-changing landscape of Pitlochry. The open-plan living area centres around a wood-burning stove, offering a relaxed yet refined setting, while the en-suite shower room provides a calm, understated finish.
Outside, your private decking and hot tub offer a secluded space to unwind, surrounded by fresh Highland air and quiet woodland views.

Schiehallion Lodge
Schiehallion is the most expansive of the Kinnaird lodges—a premium woodland retreat designed for those who appreciate space, comfort, and a more elevated sense of escape. Available as either a one-bedroom or two-bedroom layout, it offers flexibility for couples or up to four adults.
The principal bedroom features a luxurious super-king bed, while the second bedroom provides an inviting double, making it ideal for shared stays without compromising on comfort. At the heart of the lodge, a generous open-plan living space brings together a contemporary kitchen, dining area, and lounge, all centred around a wood-burning stove for a warm, relaxed atmosphere.
Full-height patio doors open onto an extended private deck, thoughtfully styled with quality outdoor seating, a charcoal BBQ with smoker (May–October), and a secluded hot tub—perfectly positioned to take in the sweeping views across the Pitlochry landscape.

This premium pet-friendly lodge offers a relaxed and spacious retreat, thoughtfully designed for couples travelling with their dogs. Styled with comfort and practicality in mind, it provides an inviting balance of indoor warmth and outdoor living.
The lodge features a beautifully appointed main bedroom with a super-king bed, while the second room is no longer available to rent. At its heart, a generous open-plan living area brings together a modern kitchen, dining space, and lounge, complete with a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings in.
Large patio doors lead onto a private deck, where you’ll find quality outdoor seating, a charcoal BBQ with smoker (May–October), and your own hot tub—perfect for unwinding while taking in the peaceful surroundings of Pitlochry.
The enclosed garden provides added freedom for your dog, alongside a corkscrew tie-out for convenience. With an abundance of scenic walks nearby, from gentle riverside strolls to more adventurous hill routes, the area is ideal for exploring with your pet.

Perched on a hillside, each lodge enjoys panoramic views from your private hot tub and wooden deck. Long summer days invite alfresco dining with the high-quality Cosmo Grill BBQ and smoker, while winter evenings are perfect for watching the snow fall before curling up by the wood-burning stove.
For the adventurous, Pitlochry is a playground of outdoor activities. Gentle walks around Loch Dunmore or Loch Faskally contrast with the challenge of Ben-y-Vrackie’s summit trails. The lochs and rivers offer water sports, while the surrounding hills and moorland attract cyclists from near and far. Anglers will also find excellent fishing opportunities right on the doorstep.
Each November, the neighbouring Christmas tree farm begins harvesting for December, giving you the chance to pre-order your perfect tree for collection during your stay—adding a touch of festive magic to your Highland escape.

Had lovely time at the cabin we have been here over 10 times over the years and the second visit since the cabins have been refurbished. which is first class with its new hot tubs and extra decking and inside decor. there was a couple of nice extra touches when we arrived which I think was for being a recurring guest which was lovely and well appreciated. Going back between xmas and New year can’t wait.
